The club hosts a number of shoots every year, both competitive and fun. The bulk of these events are our regular shooting nights, with other special events throughout the year. Check out the event calendar page to see a listing of our events, or browse the calendar.
Regular Shooting
The Saskatoon Gun Club (SGC) is open to the public for regular shooting three times a week (weather permitting), except when a scheduled shoot is on the same date (see the event calendar to check the dates).
- Tuesday to Friday: 1pm to dusk
- Saturdays: Noon to 5pm
Men’s Night
The Saskatoon Gun Club men’s night occurs a few times per year and is a chance to get out and socialize with your fellow shooters. We’ll be shooting until about 8:30 PM, followed by a BBQ supper.

Ladies’ Night
Spend the evening learning, or showcasing, how to shoot clay targets with a shotgun, followed with supper, draws and socialization.

Saskatoon Gun Club Clay Leagues
Joining one, or all of the clay leagues, at the SGC is a great way to track your improvement throughout the season, meet new shooting partners and enjoy all the clay sports the club has to offer.
Each discipline, sporting clays, trap and skeet have leagues that members can participate in each week. The leagues are designed to be flexible allowing members 3 different days during the week to shoot their rounds. League rounds can be shot on Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday of each week of the league. There are two leagues per discipline per season. Each league has an entry fee to cover the windup supper and door prizes.
