The Saskatoon Gun Club operates a 230 acre trap, skeet, and sporting clay shooting facility, which is open to the public.

Our facilities include:

  • 6 trap fields
  • 4 skeet fields
  • 5-stand field
  • 16-station sporting clays course
  • International Skeet/Trap

We host major competitions each year. We have parking for 250 cars and an RV/Tent/Tent-Trailer area. The shooting season is early spring to late fall.

The range hours of operation are:

May-August: Sundays Noon to 4 PM, Tuesday/Thursday 6PM to dusk
September/October: Sundays Noon to 4 PM

We continue to shoot through the winter on Sundays (notification via email/website) if the temperature is above -10 C.

The SGC is approved to operate between 800-2200h, 7 days a week in adherence to the RM of Aberdeen Bylaw No.2002-06. In respecting surrounding acreages, it is everyone’s responsibility to ensure this Bylaw is adhered to. Should anyone be found shooting at times outside these hours on SGC property, disciplinary action will be taken: up to revoking of shooting privileges. The SGC will investigate complaints of shooting outside of the approved times and report all results to the RM of Aberdeen.
